A lot has happened since the last time I wrote something. We changed hostels, were happy and I got better and we decided to travel on to Cordoba to meet Benjamin. We had asked the hostel to arrange a taxi for us in time so that we could catch the bus. "Yeah no problem" they said everytime we asked if it was okay and that it was arranged. But of course when we woke up early ready to take out taxi there was never ordered one. We figured, so we were 10 minutes early. They called a New one, but when that one didnt come and after 20 minutes we decided to get our own. We arrived at 10.30 at the busstation when the bus was supposed to leave at 10.30. Too late we thought. Shit, that was 500 pesos each wasted and a day extra in buenos aires. But we were extremely lucky and the bus was half an hour delayed! So we got all happy on the bus with the best seats EVER. like stresslesschairs which you could throw down so far they became beds. Fantastic. 11 hours later and no food for over 12, we arrived starving in cordoba and the first thing we do is to sit down somewhere and eat. Texted Benjamin and he came to pick us up and had big plans. Then at one point we find out the worst thing imaginable had happened. Synnes travelling backpack, the small one with all her important things in it, had been snapped away and we never Even noticed. Passport, wallet, iPad...gone. fuck. So the next 3 hours were spend at a policestation. Thank god for Benjamin Who could transelate for us since nobody here knows English. At 3 am we arrived at the hostel and were deadtired. But Benjamin had arranged a party and promised his friends we would come, so I went with him and Birgitte and Synne went to sleep. The next day we spent sightseeing Cordoba, and at nighttime Benjamin took us out to experience the argentinian nightlife. Which is a lot of fun, but also crazy hot. My dress has (two days later) still not dried entirely from being soaked with sweat. ( fun details huh) after a little bit of alcohol and way too little sleep, I was sick again and spend half the day feeling like shit. We still went to go to see the market here and saw some crazy stuff. Living scorpions, people sold their hair, real (illegal) jaguarskins...crazy argentinian people! Today we are going to see some ruins with Benjamin in a little town outside of Cordoba.
When it comes to solving problems with the Passport: Synne has to go to Buenos aires to get to the ambassady, which is a 11 hour drive. She doesnt want to go alone so we probably have to go with her. We were planning on starting to travel towards igiazu falls on tuesday but we wont be able to do that now. Another solution is to fly from Buenos aires to igiazu so we save at least a little time and do not waste too many days. Synne will probably have to go home from buenos aires and can not go to Brazil with us.
Stakkars Synne! Gleder meg til å se dokke alle igjen, klemkos
